Bishop Roderick L. Hennings ~ a prolific speaker, renowned teacher, a powerful preacher, an apologist, one used by the Holy Ghost to “change lives in an unchanging world." He is a lecturer, a coach, and a leadership mentor.​

 

Roderick L. Hennings founded Zion Dominion Global Ministries in 1993. His unique ability to communicate the Word of God without compromise attracts people from different socioeconomic backgrounds; races and nationalities; and has caused a continued growth in membership from 20 at inception to currently over several thousand.

Bishop Hennings continues to serve the International and Jurisdictional COGIC church in several capacities. On November 8, 2015 at the COGIC 18th Holy Convocation, Roderick L. Hennings was consecrated to Bishop.

 

He was appointed COGIC Assistant White House Liaison in 2013 and International Director of Church Growth & Development in January 2013. In 2014 Bishop Hennings was appointed an Administrative Assistant and District Superintendent to Bishop Glenwood H. Young Sr. Jurisdiction Prelate of New York Western Jurisdiction #2. Bishop Hennings has previously served as: Chairman of the Ordination Board of Jurisdiction #1, Administrative Assistant to Jurisdictional Prelate of New York Western Jurisdiction #1, International, COGIC Vice President of the Youth Department; International COGIC Executive Board Member of the Men’s Department; and New York Western Jurisdiction #1 Institute Instructor.

In 2015 the RLH Hennings Midwest College was launched, offering Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Degrees. The R.L. Hennings Midwest College held its first graduation in July 2016 with over 80 graduating students from across the state of New York. Bishop Hennings is also the author of the five-star rated book “It’s A Matter of Dominion!' and "Survey Of Biblical Theology."

 

In addition to his faithfulness to ministry, Bishop Hennings has a strong commitment to the general community. He currently sits on the board of directors for the United Way. He has served as a Board member of Grace Manor Nursing Home; Chairman for Buffalo Affiliate of BLCA (Black Leadership Commission on AIDS); a committee member of the Western New York Leadership Summit; he collaborated with Hopevale, Inc. to offer faith based services for abused women and children; applied and received grant monies to purchase new computers to increase computer literacy among people in low income areas. Under Bishop Hennings leadership, Zion Dominion has become the first known church in WNY to form a little league football team under Pop Warner National Football and Cheerleading organization.

Bishop Hennings is a keen advocate of technology. Along with church Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram accounts, services at Zion Dominion are streamed live from www.ziondominion.org. Services can also be heard on WUFO AM 1080 Radio (Buffalo, NY) every Wednesday morning. Bishop Hennings has also been on The WORD Network as well as making guest appearances on TBN Church Praise  (Los Angeles, CA) and has been a frequent guest of TCT Christian Television.

 

Roderick Hennings is the husband of one wife, First Lady Pamela D. Hennings and the father of his only two daughters: Ariane and Chloé Hennings.
